UEFA EURO 2008™
uefa.comUEFA.com – Jul 14, 2005
com: The structures have been set up, do you have now an overall feeling that momentum is building? Zloczower: I have already had that feeling for a while now, after [UEFA] EURO 2004™ in Portugal. We are still not fully staffed, but nevertheless we have done some very important work. com: Good co-operation between the three sides is a precondition for good results…Zloczower: Of course, good mutual understanding is a precondition, and this is fully the case. com: What are the main issues that Switzerland will have to address in the coming period?Zloczower: Until the end of the year, we have to conclude negotiations with the host cities and sign contracts, so that the cities know what their duties will be… com: Substantial and excellent youth football development work is being carried out in Switzerland. Because EURO 2008™ will take place in Switzerland, will young players be motivated to participate in the tournament? Zloczower: Yes, that is true. Our development of youth football, which started about ten years ago, is slowly bearing fruit. We have a special programme, FUTURO 2008. The 15 best players in the country are being followed and trained; the goal is to create, by 2008, a strong national team which will be capable of taking part in the competition for as long as possible. The success of a EURO can depend on the success of the national team.

Crackdown on football hooligans
BBC News – Aug 13, 2005
“We want to avoid a few troublemakers turning up to ruin both the enjoyment and reputation of law-abiding fans and making local residents’ lives a misery. North Wales Police Chief Inspector Simon Shaw said: “There are currently 51 banning orders in place against so-called Wrexham supporters. “The genuine supporter attending a football match does not want to be subject to racism, obscene language or physical attack… ‘Safe environment’

Mr Beltrami added: “The action starts now. If you cause trouble at a domestic match, or related to one, you are almost certain to be prosecuted and we will apply for a football banning order, which will ban you from every football ground in England and Wales for three years. “If England or Wales qualifies for the World Cup or Euro 2008, you won’t be going. ”

Wrexham Supporters’ Trust spokesman Simon Johnson said: “We want to enjoy our football in safe and pleasant environment. There is no place for hooligans watching Wrexham. “We are supportive of any measures to cut down on trouble in and around grounds.

FIFA WORLD CUP: The very best of Beckham
noticias.info – Jul 10, 2005
The way we have been playing of late, we should be able to string a few wins together. Important momentumEngland could certainly do with stringing two wins together against Austria and Poland, but while their first opponents at Old Trafford are without a coach following the dismissal of Hans Krankl, midfielder Markus Weissenberger insists Austria are not about to roll over and die. “It is important to end qualifying on a high so that we have some good momentum going into our [UEFA] EURO 2008? preparations,” he told uefa. Courageous opponentsStand-in assistant Austria coach Willi Ruttensteiner was equally defiant. “Our players have enormous potential but the English team have world-class players. They are very strong in midfield and in central defence,” he told uefa.

The FAW are set to announce a November friendly in Cyprus as Tosh prepares for 2008
The FAW are to announce a November friendly with Cyprus as boss John Toshack begins paving the way to Euro 2008 qualification. The friendly, is expected to be played in the Cypriot capital Nicosia on Wednesday November 16 – the date set aside for the second leg of the World Cup play-off matches which Wales will not feature in. Wales have opted out of previous friendly dates, with Toshack declaring his feelings that training camps are more useful (although it does not help their FIFA World Ranking) however the Welsh senior squad have a busy time ahead at the beginning of the new season with the first game coming against Slovenia at the New Stadium, Swansea on August 17, before World Cup qualifiers at the beginning of September, middle of October and then the Cypriot friendly the month after… Wales

REACTION
Fenlon to continue attacking policy
July 14, 2005
Shelbourne manager Pat Fenlon insists his side will be trying to win next week?s second leg at Tolka Park, despite the cushion of a first leg lead following Wednesday night?s Champions League opener against Glentoran. The 2-1 away win, courtesy of two goals from Jason Byrne and fully deserved after 75 minutes of dominance by the eircom League champions, sets Shels up for next week?s home leg at Tolka Park. The buffer leaves Shels in the comfort zone, with the knowledge that even a 1-0 defeat next week will not be enough to deprive them of a second qualifying round clash with Steaua Bucharest. But far from sitting back, Fenlon says his side will approach next week?s game in their habitual attacking mindset. He said: ?We will go out to win the game next week, just as we always do. I am always confident we can beat teams. My team is full of good players.

Wright-Phillips in limbo as Chelsea drag their heels-Sport-Football…
Sunday Times – The Sunday Times – Jul 12, 2005
City had hoped that the matter could be concluded over the weekend but are frustrated by what they see as a lack of urgency on Chelsea’s part. Stuart Pearce, the City manager, is particularly annoyed as the saga drags on. Not only does he feel that it is having an unsettling effect on team morale, he also wants to know if he will have any extra funds to strengthen his squad. City leave for a tour to the Far East on Saturday, by which time Pearce would prefer Wright-Phillips’s future to have been decided. The clubs have spoken “informally” over the past fortnight and Peter Kenyon, the Chelsea chief executive, has discussed the matter at boardroom level. City maintain that they will not accept an offer of less than £20 million — with an additional £3 million depending on appearances — but they have yet to receive even an opening bid from the Barclays Premiership champions. City ’s position will be seen as surprising at Stamford Bridge, where the deal was thought to be progressing in a similar fashion to any transfer of such magnitude.

I talked to the principal and his teacher and it apparently a known issue that they trying to solve. My little boy had a particularly violent attack where the girls took it in turns holding him down and having a hand down his pants squeezing his genitals. Ben came home early crying and I think he ashamed of the whole event. One of his testicles is a deep red and is a little swolen. The other element is, is that this is barbaric, and it shouldn’t be. I honestly http://www.cheapnfljerseysshop.com feel I agree with Dan Boyle. My Cheap Football Jerseys good friend Dave Pollack, of the San Jose Mercury, talked to Dan Boyle, the defenseman who got smashed into the boards in October. And he said look, the bottom line is that players here have to learn cheap oakleys outlet how to respect each other and right now, we don’t. If you want Cheap Jerseys this game to be safe, if you want it to be clean, the players have to respect each other; never mind what the penalties may be.Aside from the fact that the protagonist of Up is an old man and not a woman, the only real difference between the films is that in Up, http://www.mycheapnfljerseys.com the old man goes on a bunch of zany jungle adventures with a fat kid and a talking dog, whereas in Above Then Beyond, the old lady dies and it’s revealed to be a dream she had.In a medium bowl, combine the roasted garlic salad NBA Jerseys Cheap dressing, lemon juice and Italian seasoning. Reserve about 3 tablespoons of the salad dressing mixture. Pour the remaining dressing over the shrimp and, using a brush, make sure all the shrimp are completely coated with the dressing. Let sit in the refrigerator for 5 minutes or up to 30 minutes. One of the comic highlights of the film is Redmayne an Oscar winner for his performance as Stephen Hawking in The Theory Of Everything, of course, but here at his most boyish and game performing an Erumpent mating dance in http://www.cheapnfljerseyssu.com a desperate, bottom wiggling attempt to get an in season female back in his suitcase. Ah, the highs and lows of an actor’s life, eh, Eddie?Employees can make or break an organization, even though top management may be at the helm. Considering the vital impact each employee has on an organization’s success, it is of paramount importance for managers to research and analyze the drives, characteristics, needs, personalities and individual contributions of their employees. While each employee may have unique motivation and skills, basic needs are identical, as depicted by the hierarchy of needs theory. This theory suggests that levels of need determine motivation. That may partly explain why Elliott’s pending deal is only with NBC Sports. The initial, informal conversations between NBC and Elliott’s representatives were about both news and sports, according to two of the people with direct knowledge of the talks. One scenario would have had Elliott join the “Today” show in a news anchor role, putting him in line to succeed Matt Lauer.
