Of eight proposed stadia, only the 72,000-seat Olympic Stadium in Athens and the 33,000-seat Karaiskaki Stadium in Piraeus, near the capital, are deemed ready to run, the semi-official Athens News Agency (ANA) reported. UEFA mandates the inclusion of one 50,000-seat, two 40,000-seat and five 30,000-seat venues.
