Warsaw prepared for EURO 2012 Football Championship
Warsaw is prepared for the EURO 2012 Football Championship, Poland’s capital Warsaw mayor Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz said here on Tuesday.
“With regard to infrastructure Warsaw is ready - tenders for underground and bridges are underway,” Gronkiewicz-Waltz was quoted by the Polish News Agency.
Warsaw is one of the four Polish cities, where matches of EURO 2012 are to be holden.
Poland and Ukraine have won the right to co-host the European football tournament in 2012 for the first time in history.
